Construction of the Wind Energy Park in Bajgora, Kosovo
With our extensive experience in the field of infrastructure construction, we offer specialized solutions for the construction of the necessary infrastructure for wind energy turbine installations and similar projects. The wind energy park in Bajgora, Kosovo is a project that has captured the attention of the renewable energy world.
As a key partner in the construction of this park, GeoMineral is committed to building the necessary infrastructure for wind turbine installations.With a total of 27 wind turbines and a height of 110 meters, GeoMineral ensures the successful installation of these turbines by providing all the necessary conditions and equipment for their placement. The location of the Bajgora wind park is in Selac or Seljance, Mitrovica, Kosovo. Once completed, Bajgora will represent approximately 10% of the country’s installed capacity and will avoid 247,000 tons of CO2 emissions per year, making a significant contribution to climate change mitigation.
The wind energy park in the Republic of North Macedonia
GeoMineral LLC, is a specialized company in the construction of wind energy projects and is currently undertaking such a project in Demir Kapija, North Macedonia. The project involves the construction of a wind energy park, where GeoMineral Sh.P.K is the main contractor. In the initial phase of the project, the company is responsible for the construction of 9 turbines with a capacity of 44MW.
As the main contractor, its tasks include the realization of infrastructure works within the park, including the construction of roads, turbine spaces, and foundation works involving reinforcement and concrete. In addition, GeoMineral Sh.P.K. is responsible for the construction and installation of the 33 kV medium voltage transmission line, the 110/33 kV substation, the 27km 110 kV transmission line, and other auxiliary works. Our company is also tasked with excavating and opening all the necessary channels, covering a length of 16 km, and installing the cable network within the park.
GeoMineral LLC, assumes a supervisory role for all other works to be carried out by subcontractors, ensuring that the design and construction are executed successfully and in accordance with the highest standards. GeoMineral LLC has positioned itself as a leader in the field of wind energy park construction, successfully undertaking major projects in the energy infrastructure sector. Through our endeavors, we contribute to the development of renewable resources and the increase of electrical energy production capacity in Kosovo, North Macedonia, and beyond.
